Il Sole 24 Ore – Leather for design from textile waste

A new leather for design is emerging from textile dust. This is the result of an international collaboration linking Lombardy to the Netherlands. The initiative is promoted by the startup Pulvera, which has entered into an agreement with the Dutch company Cooloo, a pioneer in the development of circular technologies and materials. The common thread connecting the two companies is research and sustainability—key concepts applied to the recovery of various types of textile waste, from cotton to wool, silk, linen, and denim.
